In Pittsburgh, garden centers are busiest on spring weekends, when new stock arrives and popular plants sell out; weekday mornings are calmer and staff have more time to answer questions. Ask which plants are hardy for your USDA zone in Pennsylvania, whether trees and shrubs carry a replacement guarantee (one year is common), and whether the nursery delivers and plants large items. Fall is the best planting season for many trees and perennials, and end-of-season sales are common. Many nurseries close or shorten hours in winter, so check the listing for current hours and Google rating before you go.

Pittsburgh is in Pennsylvania, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Pittsburgh follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

They are thourough and personal, but they are a wholesale place. You can't just walk in. Your business will appreciate their work if you use them.

Plant Lady has always done a great job caring for our office plants and putting up the Christmas display in the lobby. Their techs and delivery people have always been courteous, and when we have needed new designs or more plants, Patrick and Janet from their office have always been helpful. It's been great to have a reliable contractor to handle these services.

I recently had the pleasure of dealing first hand with The Plant Lady & Associates. After witnessing the level of professionalism and care with which they put into decorating and maintaining the plants in my office building, I would recommend them above all others in the Pittsburgh area for any interior landscaping needs. I will certainly be returning to them should the need arise.
